I brought a Palm Treo Pro phone not too long ago- this is my first phone that operates on windows. Problem is it seems like its not functioning the way its supposed to and where I am there is no Treo Service Centers or anything.
For instance, me and my husband been trying to download facebook on this phone, we tried to do it through the facebook website, through the email, today I went on their site and tried to follow the directions that said "click on APP list" but I simply couldnt find the APP list on my phone....neither could my husband, we spend like 40 min trying.
Other problems I have are that windows live will not synchronize...says "failed". During the one month I had this phone I was able to synchronize maybe 3 times and with much difficulty.
Another thing is that the phone automatically turns off. I see the message "Phone off" on home screen every day and I have to manually turn it back on, and then in few hours I look at the screen and its says "Phone off" again....so far neither of us could figure out what's the deal with that either.
This is just the few problems I got with the phone that I can recall right now.
I was hoping somebody here might have an idea what's the deal with this stuff. Anyway to uninstall and reinstall the windows?
One more thing, since its a windows phone does it have an anti-virus software and if so how do I locate and use it? I connected the phone to the computer and wanted to scan it with my AVG but for some reason it wont give me this option, although my AVG is set to scan removable devices and it does it automatically without a problem- everything but the phone.
