I am trying out a Palm Pre Plus (AT&T), and although I used a Palm Treo before & figured it out quickly, and figured out my Blackberry Bold quickly I'm having a very hard time with my Pre Plus.
I've posted at PreCentral.Net and searched the "homebrew" applications, but I STILL can't get these issues resolves.
(1) The browser--I don't see an option for searching the page ("find in page"). I don't see an option for tabbed browsing. I can't figure out how to highlight page information for copy-paste. If there is a "homebrew" browser that has this, I can't locate one
(2) Google Maps--no option for favorites, MapQuesting to a point on the map (vs an address) you specify, no search history. I downloaded BFG Maps seems to have favorites, but no MapQuesting a point on map, and when I search for an address it doesn't come right up. Will some other application provide this?
(3) Memos or any "text box"--I can't figure out how to highlight a certain part of text to copy-paste, I can only figure out how to select all
(4) Any keyboard shortcuts for, say, firing up the messaging application, or any way to scroll through a webpage in the browser besides swiping it? (On my Blackberry I can press the space bar.)
