Alright so, I'll try not to bore you guys, but I have a somewhat of a confusing question.
Just a few days ago, I ordered a brand new Palm Pixi from Sprint off of eBay that I would later take to my local Cricket store to be flashed. The good news is, The flash worked perfectly. The bad news is neither the Cricket employee or me can get past the 'Activation Screen' on the Pixi. When I took a moment to look at the box it came in, Sprint quoted in the manual;
"This Sprint device is designed to be activated on the Sprint network and has a software programming lock that, in part, protects many of the device's features and function against tampering and reprogramming"
So, there's my question. Is there anyway to bypass the Sprint activation in order to operate the Pixi? The guy who flashed my phone REflashed it to Sprint, saying that I should try and activate it to Sprint and then deactivate. So, there's my second question. If I do activate and then deactivate the Pixi, will the activation lock screen be gone?
If you do end up making it through this giant entry, Thank you!
