Palm Pixi Plus without Plan?

Heyy so i had a Samsung and i was using a reguler plan. Then I got (from a friend) An unlocked blackberry tour 9630 from a friend and justy put my SIM in there and have been using it for about 2 weeks. I havnt been on internet because I dont have a micros SD card yet. But This girl wants to trade a Palm Pixi Plus for the tour. Firt: Good or bad idea? Second: Will it work if i put my SIM card in. Finnaly: Could i still use WIFI without the data plan and just a regular plan. Thnx. Best answer WILL get 5 stars thnx
