so i'm painting my room this summer & i want to do something that'll make it something special and something that i can keep for a couple years. first, i have 80's flower wallpaper right now, so i have to remove that. Then i have diffucult furniture to work with - mahogany - its lyke dark reddish. the flowers are currently pink so it fits but i dont really want to have a pink room again. i have a comtemporary style for a teen. green would be my first preference. my mom did some cris-crossing in our living room and that looked good, i also could do some special effect. personally, i was thinking about light green aleo coloring with a light kacki stripe (vertical) but it wouldnt work with the furniture...i cannot get new furniture btw. thanks for any thoughts.
