painting lining paper?

Im going to be redocorating a bedroom soon, at the moment there is textured wallpaper, im going to steam this off and apply heavy duty liner, i saw some in a hardware store that said it is suitable for painting, any tips for doing this and also how do i get rid of the joins on the lining paper once i've applied the paint? Thanks
 
Its more a case of getting the joins as perfect as you can when you put the paper up, then just paint like its a normal wall. The joins are barely visible anyway if the paper is put up correctly
