Does bell have any official policy on painting the dish? Will the installer have any problems installing a painted dish?

I assume it is ok as long as not using metallic paint (and not painting the lnbs)?

A flat paint is best, the more gloss, the more issues you have with signal, or so I've heard
As long as its a 20" dish, I don't see why the installer would have an issue installing it
Are you painting it to hide it?

You can do what you after it installed I guess. The paint has to be flat, no gloss.

I was looking for an offical line but I can't find anything on bell's site.

I just want rid of the logo. Pepsi can put an ad on my house for $1m a year. Why should bell get it free? :)

bell has no policy on painting dishes because they don't care. No you don't have to advertize.
I'm just curious, did you paint your car to cover up the mfg's name?

That's so ridiculous...do you think that people are walking by in your area with binoculars to see what brand of dish you use?

When buying a new car, I specifically ask that the dealer doesn't put thier branding on the vehicle in the form of a sticker. A license plate fram is fine (cause that can easily be removed). I know I know off topic. :(

I can see sometimes blending the dish colour would make the view as a whole more appealing. Just don't be too artistic in blending to the surroundings. Someone might not see it and walk into it and fall off the roof etc.. Even worse yet, loss of signal due to alignment issues as a result ( LOL).
But I can see how sometimes it may be a good idea, dish mounted in front of house etc...
