Painting a Portrait: What Color Should my Gloves and Tie Be?

Ideas needed for a portrait of a man from the 20s.

I have a dark gray charcoal suit with matching pants and white dress shirt. I have a pair of simple gloves and a bow tie, but what color should they be? and should they be the same color or different colors from each other to match?

Come on, you fashion conscious people! I need your help! ♥
 
In order to give the painting a bit of interest you should give it a punch of color. I would go with red or yellow because they would stand out well.
