paint over pen.. how do u paint over pen, pen keeps reappearing when i paint over...

...it. help!!? im in the middle of decorating my daughters room, only problem is there is pen on the wall. everytime i paint over it, it comes through the paint and i can still c it, is there anything i can do to stop it reappearing it is driving me mad. its had bout 10 coats of paint help !!!
ive tried the sandpaper lol but it didnt help, its low on the wall so nothing can really hide it.
 
Try using a light sand paper on the ink. Have you tried using Kilz paint? It's known for covering up black mold and nicotine stains! How much ink is there? Can you hang a picture or poster or it? Put some wall art over it?
