Hey all,
Anyone have any suggestions for protecting the tail piece of my 848? I'm rather tall and due to me having to sit further back on the seat, my butt touches/rubs/sits on the edge of the tail piece fairing. I'm pretty sure the finish of the tail piece isn't going to last very long with this happening. I guess the fortunate thing is I ride with full leathers and so far my leather pants haven't caused any marks.
I wonder if it's just enough to periodically wax the piece to protect it from wear.
