Yeah, that's one of my favorite's as well...I was actually thinking doing the same theme on my 1125R, but went with recreating the yellow and black theme that Ilmberger had already created...

Hey Ducki, i say lose the checkered flag...bike looks great as is, might want to match the front wheel with the back wheel as some have already mentioned...

Wish I could give you more original idea's, but I think you and I have very different tastes...still a nice bike though....
 
Yup. I'll be interviewing for a PT job here in the next week. If I get it, I'm thinking of taking $100 from each check and making it the "bike fund." At the end of the year, just buy what I can and make a nice little Buell project.

BTW, did you order your stuff from Ilmberger? They really don't have any prices listed for their CF stuff.
 
Not directly through Ilmberger...I ordered a complete carbon fairing kit through sierrabmwonline.com...I believe it ran me around $2500, very nice kit, all the holes lined up perfectly and weave in the CF was excellent, very nice high gloss finish...Prolly one of the best CF i've ever purchased...
 
Hey Ducki, just thought of something...how's about polishing up the pipe? A real classy bike like yours might benefit that polished look...saw this on another thread recently...
 
Ducki, you sure you can retro-fit that Corse tank? The guys on the stand @ the London bike show told me it's a no-go... : (

a) Damn, that's expensive. I wish I didn't have two houses to pay mortgages on. It might make bike builds and home improvements a little easier.

b) Do you have any pix to share?
