pains in the ribs hard to breath

Hi, well i have been having lots of pains in my ribs and now there in my upper back area, it hurts to breath and move
I have been told i might have a liver infection??? :S

Did the doctor tell you this? Because pain in the ribs and back can be a back problem, gallbladder etc.
