So I am a 21 year old male who has been experiencing very painful/weird symptoms over the past couple of years. The most painful is that I have been getting really bad chest pain. The pain is usually really sharp and ranges from the left side, to the middle, and to the right side of my chest. I also get pain in my left and right arms. I have gone to a doctor for an EKG twice already and they keep saying that nothing is wrong with me. I also always feel cold inside and people always tells me how cold my hands are. For the past couple months, I've also had diarhea daily. The most recent symptom is that for the past couple of weeks, I've been getting this weird sensation in my head. I've gotten this pressure in my head...it doesn't always hurt but it's still a feelign that soemthing is definitely wrong. I also find it hard to concentrate and have recently felt very unsocial. I've gotten a brain scan and they said nothing was wrong when it came to tumors or something like that. I don't know if all of these symptoms are related, but I really would appreciate any input. I feel like my parents and doctors are going to think I am a big joke and a burden if I keep going to the hospital when nothing is wrong. Its gotten to the point where I'm barely happy and I find myself drinking A LOT. Anyway, I hope to get some feedback. Again...anything would be greatly appreciated.

Are you an anxious person? I dont want to say its 'stress' as I know that can make people's symptoms seem invalid. But they are very real. Have you had a traumatic experience in the last couple of years? If docs can find nothing wrong, why dont you try some sort of relaxation exercises or therapy? If that doesnt work go back to your doctor and be firm with them, tell them tou are feeling very depressed and you want all and any tests they can offer to find out what is wrong. You really need to stop drinking too as that will not help you, it will cause more problems. Try the relaxation and see what happens.

Well, the first thing I would do is quit drinking so much, that certainly can cause numerous problems. I think you know that already, so stop drinking. Do you have any acid reflux problems? That could cause the psin in your chest. Also, you could be having esophageal spasms, that will mimick a heart attack.

Re the pressure in your head... get them to check your sinus. I had all the scans done to check for tumors etc because I was getting really bad headaches and a pressure feeling in my head. It ended up to be chronic sinusitis. Sinuses can do all sorts of things to your head.

As for the chest, no advice there sorry.
