I am 25 weeks pregnant with my first baby and it feels slightly tender when me and my partner have sex and it's not very enjoyable. It also feels like everything is too far up and he says that I feel incredibly tight and that it feels like an 'empty hole' unless we do a position where he goes very deep in then it feels tender.
I was getting odd feelings in my vagina so last week I went to the maternity unit and they did an examination on me.
The doctor there told me that my cervix was closed and she said that everything was normal except for the fact that I had thrush.
One of the midwives on duty put this white tablet up my vagina and said that it would treat the thrush.
A week later sex is still tender and not enjoyable.
I saw my midwife today and she forgot to give me a perscription she wrote for cream before I left the office.
Can thrush harm my baby and is it normal for everything to feel very far up?
