I just hate my acne problem. I only get a clogged pore every once in a while ... haven't been able to pin down the cause... but when I do get one it never gets a head on it, is just a red bump and it swells up all around it and hurts! It takes at least a week or more for them to go away, depending on how much I have picked at it. I seem to only get them on my forehead, sometimes my chin and jawline like by my ears and neck. I use clearasil daily face wash in the morning and at night. I use a blotting tissue paper on my forehead when I see it's shiny. I use noxzema moisturizer cream but avoid putting it on my forehead in fear of clogging pores. I do have a habit of touching my face throughout the day which I need to stop. I use NYC foundation powder all over my face, but I never use liquid foundation on my forehead. I started taking Omega fish oil vitamins which I think helped a little, but not completely. I just don't know why I'm getting these painful clogged pores!

I wonder if I should pull my hair back when I sleep? Did this help anyone? That's the only thing I can think of. I have side swept bangs so my hair may be the cluprit....?

I left a response on someone elses thread with the same answer I have for you. I have bangs and I ALWAYS had a problem with pimples on my forehead. Sometimes the oil from my hair rubbing on my skin clogs the pores and sometimes the shampoo I am using clogs them. I now sleep with my hair pulled back and every couple days I wear my hair in a style where my bangs are completely off my forehead. It gives your skin breathing time. Also, I wash my hair with dish detergent every couple days to clarify it. It really seems to help because if you don't strip your hair every once in a while all the oils build up and transfer from your hair to your skin. Hope this helps!!!!

PS. I also haven't used a towel to dry my face since I was 11. I ALWAYS use a paper towel because regular towels build bacteria. A fresh paper towel won't.

my dear friend the best remedy for acne is drink lot of plain water avoid oil and fatty junk food.

Use a good 2% BHA (also known as salicylic acid) toner and/or cleanser. Many drugstore branRAB like Neutrogena have it. You can also use home made aspirin mask which will help. Just dissolve 2-3 aspirins in a few drops of water and leave on your forehead for about 15 minutes and wash off. Do it a couple of times a week.
