Hi everyone. I am pretty stumped out this. And wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with this at all or knew someone who did. I have done general searches, but not come up with anything.

I get these weird pain episodes. They start in my right shoulder blade. Then the pain while still in my shoulder blade, radiates through the back of my throat (I can feel it tightening) and up to my jaw where it settles. And then when the pain goes away, it goes away in the jaw first and then back down to my back right shoulder blade. Never in my left shoulder blade. I do not have my gallbladder. It can last as little as 3 minutes, up to 15. Does not manifest itself into chest pain at all. No radiation into my arms or rotater cuff area. It's the same every time. There are no rhyme or reason to them. I can go a month without any, then have 2 in one week. They have been occuring intermittently for about a year now.

I did mention it to my dr during a physical and he pressed on my shoulder blade and it was tender, and said maybe I was having spasms. But, they come out of the blue, and go away in a time frame that I believe meds wouldn't help.

I don't feel light headed or anything. It just hurts.

Thanks!

Hi there, sounds to me like you may have a trapped nerve, the symptoms you have related to me as i suffered from similar pain, still do sometims, and doc told me it could be trapped nerve in my right shoulder blade..But like you, it only bothers me about 5/6 times a year, so i just try to get on with things...I know this may sound daft, but i found drinking alot of milk and warm lavender heat pack helped alot with my symptoms, mines flared up mostly in bed at night.....Hope this helps.
Kind Regards
Tracy.
