I have been expirencing pain in my stomach and on my left side for almost a month now. It isn't consistant and sometimes hurts slightly on my right side as well, and also in the middle of my stomach directly below my ribcage. Mostly the pain is on my side and towards the back (on my left). I have seen my family doctor who had me have a ultrasound. It revieled I have cysts on my kidneys. He thought that this was coincidental and not causing the pain. My pain is consistant and almost feels like what you would feel before you pass gas, only when I pass gas it is still there. It hurts the least in the morning when I wake up and gradually seems to get worse the more I move around. Riding in cars specifically with all the bumps seems to make it worse. Once I reach the peak of the pain it pretty much stays there until I lay down and go to sleep. Somedays are better/worse than others, but the pain is always there in one form or another everyday. Everything else in my life is not affected. I am having regualar bowel movements, I am having no problem urinating, there is no evidence of blood in my stools or urine. I was taking Zocor to lower my cholesterol, but stopped about a week ago and that has made no effect. I am male, and 29 years old. I have no other medical issues. Please.....any advice would be great. Thanks
