Pain..left side under ribcage

For three days now I have had a gnawing pain under my ribs on the left side.. Its there all the time whether I move or not. I have been suffering chronic nausea 2 weeks prior to this. It sometimes feels like lung pain in the upper back also. It feels tender if I press on where the side pain is...any ideas?? Thanks
 
You're symptoms are sounding a lot like the ones I started with - but I'm still unanswered to that.

Also, I thought maybe you could have gallstones? Where you said the pain was, is exactly where the gallbladder is, afterall. This can be diagnosed by an ultrasound, but it's best you book an appt. with your doctor. (:
 
The gallbladder is on the right side.

Is the pain nearer the center of your abdomen where the rib cages meet? Or is it closer to your side?

If the latter, how is you diet? Do you get plenty of fiber? It could be a sign of things slowing in the colon, perhaps developing into diverticulosis. (Pains from this often radiate to the back.)
