For the last few days I've been getting a sharp pain in the right side of my abdomen - mostly to the right of my belly button. Sometimes I can feel like a knot there and if I press on it, it's very painful and I can feel pains shooting into my lower back and other areas of my back.
I don't have a gall bladder or apendix. I had a hysterectomy about 25 years ago.
I've had this before and I thought it was from being constipated but I'm not this time. I've had tests before when I got it and nothing showed up.
Could it be muscle related? I did move some heavy things last week and I've been doing physical therapy for my back (which isn't helping). Does it sound like a pulled muscle or a knot in the muscle?
One thought I had was an aneurism but I don't feel any kind of pulse in it - just pain when I press on it.
The lump isn't always there either - sometimes I can feel it and sometimes I can't. But when I do feel it - it's very painful to push on it.
