pain in foot

i have been getting sharp pain around the very top of foot. all around , now at the bottom sometime can feel pain on a bone , some what not sure,i have been going to the doctor for it , all i get is pain pill,lucky me, but im one of the guy don't like taking pill, i finally got blood work and xrays show up negative,,now this problem have been going on for years over 15 that i can recalled but it started to worsen and it scary me,like have quote been going to doctor over some years,but only to get nothing out of it,now what i have done ,to treat it, soak in water, (warm)exercise, stretch,bend, just like a work out,it seem to work but pain come back, now the funny part ,during the day yes pain but not as sharp, when i sleep the pain wake me up sometime and bother me all night, sometime cant stand on it,somebody please tell me what is going on, can't keep going to doctor and they think im crazy for having pain that they can't see,
