(arch area).? I am a software developer and believe me, I do walk. I don't say I walk heavily or workout a lot but do walk normally, form home to outside and other normal purposes. From the last one year with changes in my career, I have not being paying much attention to my health and now it seems to show its effect. From the past 6 months, I am getting high pain in the inside part of my foot, in the curvature part (arch area). Even when I walk for 10 minutes I get heavy pain, that I have to literally stop walking and sit down somewhere immediately, not even stand idle. The pain went all the way up to the inner side of my leg till half way the joint and the pain was terrible.

I thought my shoe is not giving enough arch support and bought Reebok Kinetic Fit. The pain still did not subside or decrease in intensity, only thing it does not pass up my leg from my foot. Still my foot hurts very bad even when I walk for 10 minutes. Any other shoes or any other recommendations, or should I seek a doctor.
