Pain from the elbow down

I am a 16 year old girl. When I was away at an Irish summer college, about 6 weeks ago, i fell whilst playing rounders. I didn't twist my arm or anything. I fell with it stretched out in front of me and I did not land on it, it jst hit the ground with an awful thump. with nothing more than a slight bruise n several small cuts, i put it out of my head. approximateli a day n a half afterwards, my arm started aching from the elbow down, with severe pain in my wrist, so bad it caused me to cry on several occasions. i was not xrayed for about a week n a half because i did not feel that it was broken. i was advised to wear a sling for at least two weeks and was prescribed diclofenac 50mg to be taken three times a day. is that a strong dose? once i returned home, the local nurse said it would take up to six weeks to heal as it was jst muscle damage in both my elbow and wrist but it stil is not gettin much better. i have since returned to my normal activities like playing gaelic football and school, but it sometimes gets realli bad agaiin. there is particularli severe pain along the bone of my smallest finger and shooting pains in my wrist and up my arm, particularli if i am turning my hand. i do not want people to tink im jst makin it up bt such is my love for football, i have told pple i am ok now bt it hurts so bad i want to cry sometimes.

is there anything i can do for it as it is my right arm and i am right handed. should i return to the doctor?
