I have had this shooting pain in my back between shoulder and spine for about three weeks now. It senRAB pressure and tingling down my left arm when I lay on my back or lean back on it. I have to sleep sitting up. The tingling pressure goes all the way down to my left pinky and ring finger. but the two fingers stay tingly and somewhat nurab. What is this? It has gotten somewhat better

Perhaps something to do with a disc or spinal compression. I get tingling and nurabness wen I lay on my side. Try and get a ct scan or MRI scan. Or go and see a physiotherapist who specalises in the spine and see what they think.

I had the same exact problem--it ended up being a few herniated discs and spinal compression on a nerve--pain and nurabness went all the way down to the arm and hand, like you.

I agree with going to get an MRI done, see an ortho, or a neurologist (if you have a compressed nerve.)

I ended up having to have a surgery (ACDF) for this--but, don't worry, I was suffering from this for many years and had no choice because everything degenerated so much.

There are other options to deal with this, but first, you must go to a doctor to see what exactly is going on.

Take care.

:)
