I'm a 34 year old who has anemia since birth and Hashimoto's thyroiditis since 2006. I am not battling this pain on my left shoulder that radiates down my left arm and goes all the way up to my shoulder blades and neck. It is really affecting me. It also depresses me that I am not functional. I am going to the doctors for it who has prescribed me Naproxen and Baclofen for the pain. I had an xray done and dr said everything looked fine and now she is sending me to a physical therapist and for an MRI. I've been complaining about this pain since May and the other doctors were just quick to give me pain killers and an anti depressant. I refused to take it when they didn't care to take any tests on me. I only started taking naproxen and baclofen yesterday so I don't know if there are any changes. It's just that this pain comes and goes and it's really hard for me to get things down. Considering that I am left handed. I also go to school online fulltime and I am now faced with a difficult time sitting in front of the computer and typing to get work done.
Is there anyone out there who knows what i'm talking about? I just feel so depressed. my family notices that this pain is bringing me down. I just wish that there was a diagnose for what I am feeling. I dont want meds, I just want what's going on with me.
