I had an my 2nd endoscopy done on the 21st June (6 days ago) It showed I had multiple polyps - all else looked okay - they took biopsies, 6 in total, waiting for results )0: The scope seemed to go okay - I got throat spray. However 6 days on I am in severe pain since straight after - it feels like I have something going on in the middle of the chest area - it feels awful and is really painful - I also have been getting so much burning - nothing to do with reflux - it is totally unlike that kind of pain. I wish I could describe this better - It radiates through to my back and when I eat it gets worse - I thought about pancreaitis - and still worry that it could be that - I never had this pain before and in the past 7 months of pain I have suffered this is the worst - I've cried for days. I seen the doctor and he said it would settle down - I also called the hospital who said 'I doubt it has anything to do with the endoscope!!!' Mixed messages. I'm finding it hard to concentrate on anything as the pain gets in the way - nothing is taking it away at all )0: My 1st endoscope went fine - I had gastritis - they never mentioned this this time round so it must be gone - Karen
