After strugglling for approx. a year with severe pain down my left leg, and trying all kinRAB of alternative treatments, I finally gave in to a Disectomy. My neurourgeon was very clear that my back was very bad and that I probably needed a fusion, but was willing to try this first. The surgery was a piece of cake.Very little pain afterwarRAB, and for the first 2 1/2 weeks I felt great and began increasing my daily activities. Now into my 4th week, I am experiencing pain in a different area of my left leg. It is very difficult for me to walk in the am, and takes about 1 1/2 hours in the morning for me to get enough relief to get going. It does ease up during the course of the day. I am so hoping that this is not an unusal occurance, and that maybe this is the course that the healing process takes. Any thoughts. Edna
