I had a blocked bowel and had an emergency operation on 10th August 2008I have severe pain in my right side , its sharp and then is stinging pain and is unbearable.I have to be careful when getting into bed or lying down or sitting up otherwise that starts it up, its a sharp pain which doesnt last long.
Its worse when I sneeze, or cough I cant do anything about it.
Firstly my doctor said its stitches underneath, then the surgeon said I have pulled a muscle and to look after myself for the next 2 weeks no housework etc, but nothing has made any difference.
The paid is like someone is flicked an elastic band against the right side of my tummy.
Does anyone now what this is and how it can be fixed..
