Pain 3 weeks after hernia repair

Hi. My recovery was going along very well. I am 3 weeks out and all of a sudden I am having pain in my abdomen. All around the incision area is a bit tender and every once in a while (like when I bend over) I get really bad pain. I am going to call the doc tomorrow first thing but wondered if anyone has dealt with this. Im praying its just a healing thing and not something I'll have to have fixed again because the surgery totally sucked the life out of me. Thanks!
 
Did you have this done laproscopicly? I had mine done 3 weeks ago too, have 5 incisions in my belly that are still pretty sore. I am still on Percocet too and still in pain. I was told it would take about 12 weeks to fully heal from this surgery and need to just listen to my body. Hard to be paitent sometimes! Hope you feel better soon...Let me know what your Doc says.
 
Have you been more active suddenly? But even putting that possibility aside, I have heard from others that there can be some pain for a while after such surgery. Was it done with mesh?
