I recently bought a vehicle that was under 10 years old, so when I registered it I had to pay $400 in car tax, but after a month, I returned the vehicle to the dealer because the mileage had been tampered with. Is it possible for me to get back the money that I gave the DMV for the car tax since I only had it for a month, or maybe put it toward another car? I live in Rhode Island. Thank you!
