p990i with mac & cingular

does anyone know if I can use the P990i with my MacBookPro (for sync, etc.) and in my cingular plan?
 
The p990i will work, however it will NOT run UMTS or HSDPA from it, it will run EDGE though but you will need the settings initialized. As for a mac, symbian OS is great when syncing with a mac or for tethering, however you must get the missing sync program to truly utilize it.
