Overnet To Overnet Pro

Does anyone know how to turn overnet into overnet pro so i can get rid of the ad banner? I tried using overnet lite but it was way too unstable at the time and the program wouldnt load.

Or if anybody knows of anything like dietK for kazaa then please tell me.

when you register EDONKEY/OVERNET it tries to connect to the edonkey/overnet official site to validate what you have typed.
If you block this access, you can type anything in for username and password, the ADs will disappear

So, edit (with Notepad) your hosts file

Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\
Windows NT/2000/XP c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\
-or-
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\
(you may need administrator access for Windows NT/2000/XP)

and add theses two lines:

127.0.0.1	reg.edonkey2000.com
127.0.0.1	reg.overnet.com

*you might need to reboot for the changes to take effect

edonkey is good also but you don't like overnet??

Overnet searches and publishes in a completely decentralized way. It works such that when you search you are searching all users of the network. Overnet can scale to millions of concurrent users with no loss of performance. It fixes the problems with the eDonkey2000 network. more info

Problem is The number of Emule users are over Overnet.
There are some files owned by emule users. Overnet cannot connect with Emule. Only Edonkey can. And Sources finded by Edonkey is more than Overnet.
Maybe Overnet be designed as this way, the reason is eD/ON without antileeching Emule function, and Emule/Edonkey need servers. There are too many Leecher Emule mods.

By the way, I have got Kazaa Plus 2.6 from Overnet. But Next What should I do to make work?? It sound as need licence key. But I don't want to pay about $30 to Sharman co.

Don't pay anything for KL. Check sig below for link to versions available off this forum - all for free.

Have you use emule or edonkey first??
If you is, please turn horde function on and reset IP.

Normal, Overnet should not connect with Emule, even Emule Kademlia. Only clien list show 60 (emule).

Compared with Overnet, K lite+ 2.4.3 is slow [search and DL] and unstable. I don't know why??
And someone have KL+ and K plus 2.6 both, he said K plus 2.6 is more stable and fast.

But there is a modder of Emule KAD, when people said Overnet and Kazaa lite are faster than his mod [Exxxxxxxx], he always answer they are bullshit and leechers. Day after Day, people don't want discuss with him about overent. Even he is very famous on Offical Kademlia website, just because the team he belonged control Offical Emule website. So He can anything as he want, ex. Leecher mods Backdoor/Trojan, start war with many countries...
