hi all!
how come u can far less sources with overnet than with emule!?
anyway u can change it? cant overnet connect emule network?
i recognize that though there are far less sources, speed is far much better.
but for some files i have no sources at all, whereas i had some on emule. and since u are quite cunning,, u realized u dl then not fast at all, acually not at all.
argh.

Not sure if you are talking about search results or not, but check your settings. Under options/advanced set maximum sources to 0 (unlimited) and in network make sure max connections is set with minimum of 75.

hi musle and all rest,
i chose u one example:
'le nouveau jean claude'
hash AA2889BB417091E59B7AFA3E11343725
size 693.53 Mb (731.412.480 Bytes)
i have dled around 120 Mb.
8 sources on overnet
70 on emule, having connected only on razorback2 (i usually connect to 5-10 servers-one minute each-at the beginning of a dling session, to get more sources).

thats a stupid thing to do.
Your lucky you aint got blacklisted.

hi!
yes its a french movie.
is it y i cant get it much on ovenet?
there are many other french films in my dls.
are my compatriots dumb enough not to use overnet? maybe! :D
dealing with the mutliple at the beginning, u misunderstood. i connect only ONCE to each of the first 5 biggest servers, leaving 1 min between each connection, i of course finish with the niggest where i stay afterwards, leaving it with highest priority(razorback2).
so its more like i knock 5 big houses only once, then leave them, finishing the trip in the biggest where i bring quite a big amount of sources that may not have here, but which they get.
not THAT bad, isn'it?
overfriendly,
b

because its bad for the servers.... (analogy wise, it would be like me knocking on your door every minutes ).

....emule will already connect to other servers without the need to jump about....

...you'll get banned off them if you do.

doesnt matter if you only connect to 5 with a min gap. Jumping around on servers just to get sources is considered bad ettiquette and frowned upon because of its effect on servers. Just give it a couple of mins on one server and it'll find the sources you will need from other servers without having to jump around.

and don't forget if you are sharing music or ne thing to make all of your files look like this ie: [pfc]Encounters Of The fifth Kind Back , [pfc]Encounters Of The Fifth Kind Cover , [pfc]Encounters Of The Fifth Kind Part 1 DVDrip DivX , [tmd]along.came.polly.(nox).cam.(2of2) , [pfc]alongcamepolly_poster , exc.

== actual files on overnet for reference used as examples. Don't simply put cover. What cover is it? Think be4 you share.

wtf do pmc tmd ... mean?
oh yeah, something id like to ask about overnet:
when i turn it off, it keeps running using ALL of my cpu, though not using anybandwith at all(i see it with windows task manger\processes.what is it doin?
how long is this after-turned-off-phase supposed to last?
ty!
