overheat easily

I have always overheated easily, ever since I was a child, regardless of diet, workload, weather, or physical condition. When I was in High School I was very active and athletic, but did not really eat properly. While I was in the Army I ate properly, was properly hydrated and was very active and more athletic than most of my peers. Since the army I've been moderately active and not followed any kind of diet. I do not have problems with the cold and handle it better than most, although I've had mild frostbite on both my feet and they tend to get cold easily. I overheat easily and sweat profusely, regardless of how hydrated I am. Apparently my Father also had this problem but neither his parents, nor any of his 7 brothers and sisters did. Is there anything I can do to bring this to a more "normal" level?

thank you for your time

Sounds like you have an overactive metabolism. Are you thin?

Hyperthyroid can cause heat intolerance and sweating. A blood test called "TSH" can tell you if you're thyroid hormone is out of balance.

And there is a genetic disorder of the sweat glands called Primary Hyperhidrosis. It's treated with medications and/or surgical remedies.
