Over the course of history have more people been killed by cars or horses?

I know the numbers for automobile related deaths over the last hundred years are staggering, but I'm in a debate with my friends over whether or not the amount of people killed in a horse-related incident surpasses that. We're talking totals since the first modern man, and including wild horses, horse meat with worms, men dying in battle, and your usual falling off of horses and breaking necks. For cars we are including accidents, but also factory mishaps, pedestrian hits, etc. Any help you could give would be much obliged, and feel free to ask questions to clear up any confusion. I made it as straightforward as possible.

If i were to answer the question exactly as you posed it in your question.
Then horses buy far would be the killers.
As cars dont have the ability to kill anyone.
Just as guns do not.
Even someone that lets a car fall on them when thy are under ir ,killed themselves with their actions.
A car has never killed even one person.
