Outtage?

Has anyone is So-Cal experienced a major outage on their Blackberrys? I've been going back and forth from SOS to x since noon yesterday. I called them and they said 1 tower went out in my area but I should still be picking up other towers. I'm trying to see is its a coverage issue or a sim card issue. I know it's not the device because my AT&T sim card works and gets service in it.
 
I'm guessing alot of AT&T users are experiencing outages, this is the third or fourth post I've seen asking this same question.
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~have you tried a batt pull if that doesn't work. Call tech care and they can remove tour location from the network so when your phone turns back on it should fined the network.
 
No, I think it's the SIM. Either it just died, or OS 4.5 killed it. I hope it had nothing to do with OS. I'm running Roger's 4.5 on my Unlocked TMo 8120. I know alot of people here are running other providers' official release and the only problems I'm hearing is people who get HTML email don't have Document Viewer and Vice Versa.

Yeah so I'm praying its not the OS, just the SIM went bad. 'Cause I cancelled my Tmo Service... stoopid $200 deac fee!... and requested BIS on my AT&T accuont. It's pretty retarded, having an employee plan you can't add features online, you have to email a specific person and request it!
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~is anyone in the Savannah area having issues with service, I have T-mo. Finally called customer care and they said it is a global outage. It is very sporadic but irritating!

I have had problems with email and reception since Hurricane Ike (Houston, TX). I could not send emails or texts, and calls didn't go thru. Calls have been sporadic since.


Just today I have had problems with signal switching from EDGE to edge to GSM. I had to turn WiFi on to get any kind of data. Diagnostic test on the BB failed. Email delivery is sporadic. Test emails are not being delivered. Hourglass is in almost constant motion.

If this isn't fixed by next May (1 year since I got the 8120), I may switch to AT&T.
 
Yeah, it is a pain! I had my friend that works at Tmo try and find out what is going on and he couldn't get an answer, and they still don't know how long until it is fixed. It is really making me mad because it is interfering with my phone calls!
