Outside paint color ideas?

We have been working on a block house with a silver metal tin roof for a few months now. We are looking for ideas of what color to paint the outside. It was white before, but didn't take long at all to get mildew and dirty. Any suggestions... and if you have any links of examples please let me know. thanks for your help

Go to a paint or hardware store and get a colour selection brochure for external colours. Some people choose colours without actually knowing if that particular colour can be used outside. Some colours because of the tints used to colour the paint aren't suitable for external use.
Using a colour brochure ensures that the colour you choose will stand up to ultra violet rays which can break down colour pigment. Buy the most expensive paint you can afford as the better the quality paint, the longer it will last and better finish you will get.
