Hello there! I'm in a time crunch! I'm 13 years old, applied to a private catholic college preparatory in the san fernando valley. I got in...though my financial status is crap. They have financial aid offered, but I didnt apply...well because my mother doesn't have a job right now, and my father wouldn't give his financial information. I live with my dad. He asked me about financial aid and I was like, "Well go to the school and stuff." Him, being very immature, said that my mother has all this imaginary paperwork that prevents him from stuff...(makes no sense) Anyway, so I didn't apply. Now school is right around the corner, the private school breathing down my neck for their money or they're going to drop my spot. It's too late to ask for financial aid as their fund for that is used up already. HELP, WHAT DO I DO?! I'm freaking out! I can't do much, as I'm only 13, but if you can help me find some outside financial aid for the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area, YOU WILL SAVE MY LIFE, AND FUTURE! Help, please? I've got like..no time left. My dad isn't doing anything about it, so it's my turn to step up to the plate. THANKS SO MUCH!
