out of school sports and college?

Ive been playing soccer for a league outside of school since i was about 9 (im 15 now) my dad wants me to quit next year when im a sophomore because he thinks it doesnt help with college resumes. is he right? will it not help at all.
 
thats silly, any involvement is good. It helps to be involved with a variety of activities in and out of school. Just as long as you are able to do other things with your school it's fine and if you enjoy it (and it's not negatively effecting your grades) there's no reason to quit
