Even though the owner manual for our Dodge Durango says it does not use push rods, the mechanic who has working on the Durango says that he found 2 push rods when he pulled the
valve cover. The Durango began missing and we took it to a mechanic. So far his repairs have added up to around two thousand dollars. He replaced the fan clutch, a harmonic balancer, two spark plugs, 2 coils and 3 timing chains and sprockets. Even though everyone we talked to thought he was great I am beginning to wonder if we are being suckered. The push rod crap makes me think that we are being fleeced. Even if we have him put the car back together so we can take it somewhere else we are still going to have to pay him or he won't release the car. Please if any of you have some advice as to what we can do we would appreciate it.
