Other mail clients for calendaring, or possibly Google Calendar?

Im trying to migrate away from MS software, and even though i am a diehard Outlook fan im trying to find an alternative. I have been using Evolution extensively in my Ubuntu install on my laptop. And i love how i can without any plugins or anything like that sync with google calendars. Im wondering if my e50 will be able to sync with Evolution somehow on my linux install and get calendar info from it? Or is there a program for Symbian OS that i can access google calendar?

Both of the above can sync data between your phone and Google Calenedar. But that is the easy part.......

The hard part is finding any software that can sync S60 3rd with Linux. Gnokii had gnapplet, but that was only funcitonal for older S60 2nd phones, as far as I know. Have not seen anyone who could make it work with S60 3rd, which is what your E50 is.

But if you can find a way to get the data from your PIM on Linux onto the Google Calendar online, then you can work around it. But you will pay data rates for all your syncing, obviously
