Other categories compared to Books & Authors?

Anyone else check out other categories here on Y!A and feel disappointed and even aggravated at all the lame and nasty comments people leave (especially in the politics section)?

Do you come back to B & A saying to yourself, "Ahhhh! Readers and writers are a pleasant bunch, indeed!"
No, I'm not being sarcastic. Yes, there are stinkers right here in B&A, but it seems far fewer than in many other categories.

(Though it seems there are a lot of kids here who ask for criticism of their work but can't take it when they get it ;-)

You may be right. Religion & Spirituality is a magnet for all the sad, pathetic, nasty trolls out there. I think they just need to sit down and read a good book!
 
I don't like it when people give essay q's and want us to answer it for them or give a homework topic and disguise it as a competition to get points.

Some people deserve mean answers sometimes, but most of the time i think people are just answering anything to get points. Some of the comments are really nasty.
 
haha! you guys have a bit of a troll problem here too (nonsense). but whats funny is that even though that guy is a troll, he's way more "intelligent" than the other just plain foolish trolls! thats just how good B&A is. even when you have a troll, it's a "classy" troll LOL!
