ota droid 2.1 = flash?

Hey guys,

I've been waiting for this update for monthes bc I thought it would have flash.. what's the deal because it wasn't on the list.. will they push later wit it?

I'm sure its on a tread somewhere but I'm really tired of researching the 2.1 update its been dragging so long.

c'mon, flash was never promised for 2.1.
flash for android is still in development and will only be out by Q3 or later than that.
 
correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the google nexxus have it? rumor had it that the flash player would be available by Q2. I am tired of waiting. can't watch what I want to watch without flash!
 
I sure thought 2.1 was allegedly going to finally include flash, and was disappointed when I downloaded the update today and it wasn't included.

So, is there an official target release date, or is Adobe still tweaking it and trying to get it to work on the Moto Droid?

Anyone know?

Same here, I got fed up and tired of waiting for Adobe and their lies about bringing their "necessary" precious evil to Android. I got so tired of it that I don't feel like I want it anymore. I've realized that I rather have the full experience of the web as I'm used to: using a computer. I prefer the relative more struggle of using my laptop tethered to my G1. In a few words, I'll just stick to enjoying youtube in a decent sized screen instead of waiting this long to just see it in a tiny screen.

Thanks Adobe, you officially made one person get behind your competitor. I just checked out silverlight, and IMHO seems to have more potential and future. I hope it gets developed and it takes off. At least the wait microsoft makes us go through has been for a COMPLETE, FULL OPERATING SYSTEMS.

My devour has Flash "Lite" support. Some flash based games and ads can be viewed, but it doesnt support useful flash sites like hulu and such yet
