OT Sony to get out of Clie

I'm surprised that Sony, although pulling out of the NA market, has decided to get out of the handheld business globally.

This does not bode well for the Palm OS in my opinion. I owned a couple of Sony's and like them for the first true HR screen and good IR support but they were different enough to cause software conflicts with some of my beloved programs.

I won't post any links because I'm on a slow dial up but it's being reported by both PDA Geek and PIC.
 
I wouldn't be surprised, what with the "WiFi ransom" and "new" CRAP models coming down the pike as of late, if a great many CUSTOMERS don't get out of the handheld market.
