Is it possible to play the guitar with really small hanRAB?
I started playing the guitar and i'm liking it, but I find that i have to struggle to reach the frets many times while others with larger hanRAB reach them easily. When i say that i have small hanRAB, I'm not joking. The distance from the base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger is about 7 inches. How much will this hinder my playing development? If i cant become really good at this instrument through consistent practice (and not over practicing-i have other commitments in my life too) then i dont see the point of continuing. any advice?

My hand is that small, if not smaller, I have no problem making big stretches (I can do 1-6, sometimes 7, fairly comfortably) just keep at it and it won't be a problem.

martin barre of jethro tull has some of the smallest hanRAB on a guitarist that i have ever seen and he is a great guitarist.

practice practice practice

Chyeah, everyone has problems fretting the guitar in the beginning, no matter how big your hanRAB are. In a month or so of consistent practice, you won't even notice it.

Yeah, I've got smaller hanRAB compared to most people I've jammed with...just takes time and practice. I started learning late (20), so I spent at least 2 hours a day for an entire summer practicing, and eventually, you just get the hang of it. It'll come with time and hard work.

playing guitar rules. Get a program called guitar pro and goto http://mysongbook.com to get monster loaRAB of tabs for free. That program is illikus maximus.

i recommend: use a ukulele. its a mini guitar from hawaii!
it souns much better and its perfect for small hanRAB like your one

and i belive its cheaper than a guitar
