Osteomyelitis and antibiotics

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how long someone should normally be kept on antibiotics after contracting Osteomyelitis during lurabar spinal surgery?
Any info will be gratefully received :confused:

I am sorry this happened to you. I had rotator cuff surgery a couple of years ago and contracted osteomylitis and was on 2 antibiotics by IV twice a day for 6 weeks. The home healthcare nurse came every day. Why aren't you asking your doctor?
