Is there any open source (and/or freeware) equivalent to UDMH? I desperately need that hack, but I really don't want to spend the money.

You are starting to get irritating with a double post here, and obviously posting the same all over other Palm forums.

No. There is no freeware or open source alternative.

Pay the money ($9.95 isn't that expensive) and buy the app.
