To tell which flask contains which solution, measure out an equal volume or weight of each solution and place it in separate bags of labeled dialysis tubing. Put the tubing in a distilled water bath for a hour, then weigh the bags. The bag with the highest percent change in mass, holds the most water and is therefore the 0.8M sucrose solution. The next heaviest is 0.6M and so on.
