My GF had an incident the other day I believe could have been prevented. Green beans. We all know that they get cooked and stay heated in water. She works in a foodservice location and (I sh*t you not) it is actually commonplace to store them in a HEATED cabinet about head-level. So yes, your arms are almost literally reaching over your head to grab beans alongside the gallon of water that they are in.. at 180 degrees!!
So now my question... I have given the best detail possible; is there any OSHA or otherwise regulations against this stupidity? Its been years and I always thought that hot liquids were never allowed to be stored above waist-level. Thanks! Will be looking for a best answer!!
OMG the stupidity is contagious!! I forgot the important fact that, yes, she did in fact receive 2nd degree burns directly related to the incident. Chest area about 6 inches in diameter
