All of my ancestors came over to America several hundred years ago. My maternal grandmother and grandfather are mainly of English/Scottish descent and my paternal grandmother is mainly Irish. My paternal grandfather comes from an area in the U.S. where mainly Welsh immigrants have stayed for several hundred years.
My question: I have a very light olive-colored skin, am short, have dark brown hair, and blue eyes. (Many people think I am part-Latino, or something to that effect.)
But, if ALL of my ancestors are from places where the norm is light skin and light/red hair, where would I have gotten this darker look?
