Orb and Three Mobile

Hi,

Has anyone tried to access Orb using 3 mobile since their new serivce come online.

I have a N80 and I can not get up the orb front page (mycast.orb.com) when using the 3 access point. It is fine using wireless.

It appears 3 are blocking orb for anyone apart from their X Series Gold users who pay extra for Orb.

Not that I am paying even more than whose gold users for less 75M instead of 1G.

I also have an N80, and use T-Mobile and "t-zones" here in the US. And I too have trouble connecting to any RealAudio stream using GPRS/EDGE. It works great with the WIfi, also.

Would you try an experiment? I have found that if I connect my PC to GPRS/EDGE via the modem over bluetooth, then I can stream from Orb fine. So, this implies that my t-mobile packet data service CAN do real audio, but maybe there is something about the N80? Don't know. Anyways, give that a try, and maybe we can compare notes...
 
Even if I go via the PC I cannot access any .orb.com site as they are blocked. I nearly thought I had sussed it by using Opera Mini but when it launches the video it goes off to orb.com and gets blocked.
